Yeah I vaguely remember the name.

Hi Y'all,

I was wondering if anyone remembers Tom Byres or Buyers. I think he was a classmate of ours but I am not completely sure...too much time has passed. I think he had a younger brother named Steve.

If anyone can help I would like to try to reach him.

I moved back to Richland Hills in 2OO4 from New Orleans.  YES, I'm still a photographer, and I paint.  I bought a house on Hovenkamp next door to where I grew up as a child and I am renovating that house.  Happy to chat with any old friends.  817-673-881O

You have made some really good points there. I checked on
the web for additional information about the issue
and found most people will go along with your views on this site.

Life is short and some how we always come back to where it all began. After the loss of my wife, I will be moving back to the Richland Hills area soon. My youngest lives in Keller and I am looking forward to coming home.

Found this site of Richland rebels and I've enjoyed the pictures and looking back. Though not a graduate of Richland high (L.D.Bell 68), I grew up in Richland hills, left in 1964. Went to Glenview and some at RJH. I added the photo in the 'looking back', of some of the young ladies I use to play and grew up with. Hope they enjoy the picture. This is a great site and I really enjoyed the look back. God bless .

I have not been doing much since the reunion.  I am single and the only child, I take care of my parents.  I have finally got my daughter to come stay a weekend so I can get out a little.  Then I find I do not know what to do! When I can do something no one else can.  What can a girl do???

Liz my CD does not work, I finally got around to checking it.
Allen D. James - 02-18-2009
Well, after High School, I moved to Dallas to persue my lifes goal, to buy a sailboat, sell everything and move to Kingston and take Touristi photos.
Something else happened.  Got completely immersed in sports cars and racing, joined the Engineering apprenticeship program at Texas Instruments, blew that off after about 5 yrs, and started a Photographic equipment business with a friend from T.I.
Alan Browning and I had a small photographic business for a couple of years and had good fun with it.  THEN, I got married at about 30.  Begin the downward spiral.  Somehow, I wound up in Minne SNOW-Tah, and YES, itd DAMNED Cold up here!  I want to come home some day, for good. These Minnesota folks aren't as friendly as they would lead you believe they were.
Hello to ALL, and GO REBS!

George Padgett - 10-03-2008
I've been busy since RHS.  College at UTA, US Army all over the world, police analyst for Savannah, Georgia, algebra & chemistry teacher.  I'm now retired near Savannah.  Two kids in high school.  I'm still driving hot rods. I'm the webmaster for the Dixieland Cruisers:   My car and pictures at : http://www.dixielandcruisers.org/george_padgett_project.html
I'm sorry to have missed another reunion.  Y'all write, ya hear.

This is a great website, excellant job.
Linda Hightower Shafer - 09-21-2008
Liza and Tim plus all of their helpers, did a great job.  I appreciate all of your hard work.  Had fun and enjoyed seeing everyone.
Julia Jarchow Robinson - 09-10-2008
I can't make it to the reunion but offer huge thanks to those who've put this website together.  Such fun looking at how everyone has changed and yet we are still the same people - even forty years later.
Marc Donar Weathers - 08-16-2008
It seems so long ago and so much has happened.  Lived in six states but back to my birth city, Okc, Ok.  Spent around 30 years in sales and now computer cabinet designer for two years..where did that come from?  This site may just be the springboard to renew some old acquaintances.  Hi acquaintances......
